چکیده
First evidence started to demonstrate the anxiolytic effects of low molecular weight peptides extracted from natural products, such as fish hydrolysate, but their underlying mechanisms remain be elucidated. The objective this study was evaluate effect a chronic administration hydrolysate on stress reactivity and understand involved. Stress response (corticosterone secretion, expression stress-responsive genes) measured in Balb/c mice supplemented with (300 mg/kg body weight) or vehicle daily for 7 days before being submitted an acute mild protocol. Our results demonstrated that 30 min after induction, decreased corticosterone level compared control mice. Moreover, supplementation modulated responsive genes involved hypothalamic pituitary adrenal axis regulation, circadian rhythm aging process. These findings suggest represents innovative strategy prevent stress-induced aversive participate management.

Milled Stress Reduces Morphine-Induced Locomotion in F2 NMRI Mice
In the present study, the effects of pregnant NMRI mice restraint stress on the responsibility of their children to the behavioral properties of morphine, sulpiride and dextromethorphan were investigated in the F2 generation. Twenty four pregnant NMRI female mice (W: 25 g) were divided into the experimental and control groups (n = 12/group). Animals in the experimental group were kept in the r...

متن کاملInteraction between 5-HT6 receptors and acute stress and corticosterone on fear memory reconsolidation in mice
Introduction: Rrecent studies indicated that serotonergic receptors can be mediate the glucocorticoids’ effects on behavioral procesess. The aim of this study was to determine the role of serotonergic receptor (5-HT6) in the effects of acute stress and corticosterone on fear memory reconsolidation in mice. Materials and Methods: Male adult mice were trained and tested in an inhibitory avoidance...
متن کاملTaurine supplementation restores insulin secretion and reduces ER stress markers in protein-malnourished mice.
Endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress is a cellular response to increased intra-reticular protein accumulation or poor ER function. Chronic activation of this pathway may lead to beta cell death and metabolic syndrome (MS). Poor nutrition during perinatal period, especially protein malnutrition, is associated with increased risk for MS in later life. Here, we analyzed the effects of taurine (TAU) s...
متن کاملPrenatal stress induces high anxiety and postnatal handling induces low anxiety in adult offspring: correlation with stress-induced corticosterone secretion.
It is well known that the hypothalamo-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis is altered by early environmental experiences, particularly in the perinatal period. This may be one mechanism by which the environment changes the physiology of the animal such that individual differences in adult adaptative capabilities, such as behavioral reactivity and memory performance, are observable. To determine the ori...
